Can I buy a Gun from Avalon Guns by Mail Order?

On receiving your shotgun or firearms license we complete the relevant paperwork and, as a face to face transaction is required by law, we deliver to agents in your area. The all inclusive charge for this service is £35, covers the insured delivery and the dealers transfer fee.

Do you take Guns in Part Exchange?

We often accept used guns in part exchange. A member of our team will have to examine the gun in order to negotiate a price. If you are using our mail order service we can arrange for your gun to be collected on an insured 24 hour courier service. If a price cannot be agreed upon the gun will be returned to you at our expense.

Which Payment Methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, Solo and Maestro. Card details can be taken over the phone for immediate payment. We recommend sending cheques special delivery with your license when arranging mail order. Finance facilities are also available for amounts of £500 or over - no deposit necessary.

Can I Try out a Gun Before I Buy?

A member of our experienced team can take you to the Ivythorn Shooting Ground, just five minutes drive from the shop.

Test one or more guns to check that we have found the right model to suit all your requirements and pick up some useful shooting tips and techniques in the process.

Do you offer Shooting Tuition?

Tuition on a personal or group basis is available to improve your shooting and develop your overall enjoyment of the sport. Customer service complete solutions for the shooting and outdoor enthusiast are a major part of our commitment to customer care.
